Flatbed & step deck dispatch
Flatbed, step deck and RGN dispatch
Open-deck freight is more work. We know securement, permits and tarping — and look for loads that pay for it.
Open-deck freight
Flatbed and step deck haul what can’t go in a box: steel, lumber, pipe, building materials, machinery and equipment. Step decks and RGNs take taller and heavier pieces that won’t clear on a standard flatbed.
Every load is different, so the details have to be right before you say yes: dimensions and weight, tarp or no tarp, how it’s loaded, and whether it’s oversize.
Securement, tarping and permits
You do the securing and tarping; it takes time and it’s hard work. A load that needs tarps or extra straps should pay for that work — so we look for rates that cover it.
Oversize and overweight loads need permits and route planning. We know how that works, and the details come to you before you approve the load.
How we dispatch open deck
Your dispatcher learns your trailer, your equipment — straps, chains, binders, tarps — and the lanes you like. Then they bring you loads that fit, and nothing is booked without your OK.
